We stand behind the exceptional quality of our products and are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. As a small family-run business, we personally oversee every aspect of our craft and greatly appreciate your patience as we work to try and help you with your purchase.

Return Period

 

Products may be returned within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date for a full refund, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Return Eligibility Requirements

 

To be eligible for a return, products must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Remain in original, undamaged condition

  • Be returned in original packaging with all protective materials intact

  • Include proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

  • Have not been modified, altered, or customised in any way

  3. Shipping: Send via tracked courier service to our designated facility

  4. Inspection: Items undergo quality assessment within 2-3 business days

  5. Approval: Refund authorisation issued upon successful inspection

Refund Timeline

  • Initial Processing: 2-3 business days following receipt

  • Refund Processing: Up to 10 business days after approval

  • Bank Processing: Additional 3-5 business days (dependent on financial institution)

All refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for purchase.

Damaged Product Claims

 

Reporting Requirements

 

Customers must report damaged products within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Claims must include:

  • Photographic & video documentation of damage

  • Order reference number

  • Detailed description of the damage sustained

Resolution Process

 

Upon verification of damage during transit, the item must be returned (at customers expense) to the address given. Upon return and inspection, if the product is indeed damaged, Old World Magic will provide a replacement product at no additional cost.

Non-Returnable Items

 

The following categories of products are considered final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized items (including bespoke wands)

  • Products showing signs of use, wear, or damage not attributable to manufacturing defects

  • Items returned beyond the 14-day return window

  • Products not returned in original packaging

  • Perishable components with limited shelf life

Product Exchanges

 

Old World Magic does not offer direct product exchanges. Customers requiring alternative products should:

  1. Process a return for the original item following standard procedures

  2. Place a separate order for the desired replacement product

This policy ensures the most efficient processing and delivery of your preferred items.

Manufacturing Defects

 

Products with genuine manufacturing defects are covered beyond the standard return period. Such claims require:

  • Immediate notification with supporting documentation

  • Return of the defective product 

  • Quality assessment by our craftsmen

Verified manufacturing defects will result in full refund or product replacement at the customer's preference.

Consumer Rights (United Kingdom)

 

This returns policy operates in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including but not limited to:

  • Right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of purchase

  • Right to repair or replacement for products not of satisfactory quality
