Step into the private study of a 19th-century occult scholar with this enlarged Dual Vampire Fang Specimen Display, part of the exclusive Unnatural History Collection — a curated archive of mythical creatures rendered in convincing physical form.
Sculpted in 3D by Joshua Dunlop — acclaimed creature concept artist whose portfolio includes work for Disney, Netflix, and the Natural History Museum — this framed display presents two distinct vampiric classifications, reputedly catalogued during early European investigations into the undead.
The upper specimen is identified as:
Elder Vampire — Russia, 1802
A formidable and ancient strain, characterised by elongated, heavily worn fangs suggesting centuries of predation. The broader root structure implies a more powerful jaw and advanced transformation.
The lower specimen is labelled:
Strigoi — Romanian Vampire, Romania 1806
Believed to originate from Eastern European folklore, the Strigoi is said to be a revenant spirit inhabiting the dead. The fangs are more slender yet sharply tapered, adapted for swift feeding and nocturnal hunting.
Each fang has been meticulously sculpted, textured, and hand-painted to evoke aged enamel, darkened roots, and subtle organic irregularities, as though carefully extracted and preserved for comparative study.
Mounted with museum precision within a 13x18cm protective box frame, the specimens rest upon a deep red velvet backdrop behind clear perspex. The presentation mirrors that of a Victorian natural history display — equal parts scientific record and supernatural warning.
Perfect for gothic interiors, curio cabinets, occult libraries, or collectors of macabre antiquities, this dual display serves as a dramatic centrepiece — suggesting a wider hidden taxonomy of vampiric species.

The photo doesn't do justice to the quality and skill in this piece. It stands out a mile and pulls your attention towards it. I was lucky enough to get these in person and am so glad I did. Because I know if I'd walked away without buying, I'd have regretted it. Fantastic piece :)
The craftsmanship and detail is really exquisite! Incredibly happy with this and pairs perfectly with the Vampire Blood poison, makes for a really interesting decorative piece that invokes a lot of attention!
